INGREDIENTS POR PASTRY |

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a medium baking dish, toss the sliced apples with the butter and Balsamumm. Roast for 25–30 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the sauce has thickened slightly. Set aside.
On a parchment-lined baking sheet, lay the puff pastry flat.
Trim a thin layer of rind off the top of the Brie (leave the sides and bottom intact) and place the cheese in the center of the pastry.
Spread 2 tablespoons of Balsamumm-Maple Caramel sauce over the top of the Brie.
Fold the corners of the puff pastry over the cheese to enclose it. Brush the outside with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Spoon the roasted apples on top and finish with an extra drizzle of Balsamumm-Maple Caramel and Balsamumm Bianco. Garnish with fresh thyme.
Angela’s Tip |
Try substituting the Brie with creamy goat cheese for a tangier twist. Add roasted nuts like pecans or walnuts for extra texture and flavor. |
